Linda Seebach retired in 2007 from the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, where she was an editorial writer and op-ed columnist. She lives in Northfield, Minn., where in an earlier century she had been a math professor at St. Olaf College in Northfield and owner of a small printing company that specialized in parts books and shop manuals for Studebakers and Packards. She has also been a foreign expert teaching GRE and TOEFL prep at East China Normal University in Shanghai and a grad student in linguistics at the University of Minnesota.

    Thought of you many times in recent (post Denver) years. I hope you are doing well. We are still in Vermont and are proud grandparents of two boys, Sam, 7, and Tommy 5. They live only 60 miles away in Massachusetts, so we see them often.
